Broadway's Lion King is in town, so we went last night. Emily and Liam really enjoyed it, although Liam fell asleep in my arms about 1/2 hour before the end. He must have been quite tired; didn't flinch during the standing ovation, lights coming back on or even when Todd carried him out to the vehicle.

Emily has been in a camp at the university all week so has been enjoying that experience. Butterfield Acres, swimming and I think they're being exposed to archaeology tomorrow. She'll love that.

I'm off tomorrow so I'll take Emily to her camp and then hang with the boy.

The sinks and flooring have been delivered to the house, so installation should be happening soon. Possession date September 15ish?

All Work and No Play..

Work is a bit crazy right now, so rather than waiting for me to get home at 6:00 each night, Todd and the kids headed to Brooks for a couple of days. It's the long weekend, beautiful weather, but not much of a chance for me to enjoy it. Oh, well. What I'm involved with at work is a great experience and hopefully worthwhile in the end.

It's a nice evening, so I'm going for ice cream and walk with a friend whom I have known since grade 8.
