Every year, Campus Preschool has a movie night. The kids come dressed in their pjs and watch movies 'old style' ie. 8mm film just like when I was a kid. They also have popcorn twists and juice for snack. Emily loved movie night when she was in preschool, so she skipped gymnastics to attend. Besides, Todd went fishing so we were only able to get to one thing tonight. Even though this was my fourth time watching the same movies, it's an enjoyable night and fun to hear the kids laugh. It's also amazing to see how much the older preschool 'graduates' ie. Emily and her posse have grown. Many of their comments are "I wish I was still in preschool!"

Emily & Liam: How does your garden grow?

This past Saturday we finally planted a bit of a vegetable garden. The kids chose spinach, carrots, peas, green onions and pumpkins to plant. I threw in some cilantro and basil. It's not a large garden, but it should produce at least a few treats.

Soccer Mom

It seems like we're always at soccer. Liam plays once a week and Emily plays twice so three nights are spent lacing up the cleats. I don't mind as I'm playing vicariously through them. Emily seems to enjoy the practices more than the games and Liam is the opposite. Drills are ok, but bring on the other team.
