Tis the Season

Last Sunday we drove out to a Junior Warden's forest for our annual Christmas tree cutting adventure. It was a sunny day and we had fun finding the 'perfect' tree, actually trees. We decided to get two trees this year. Once Todd cut them down, we headed to a gathering spot where the kids had chili and hot chocolate. A great afternoon to get us into the spirit of Christmas!

Todd surprised me with a trip to Vegas with a good friend of mine. We left Wednesday morning and returned Saturday night. We stayed at the Bellagio, shopped, went to a few clubs (The Bank in Bellagio and Tao), ate great meals, had drinks bought for us, received VIP treatment at Tao, met some entertaining people, shopped some more and generally had a fantastic time. I even won $50...first spin on a $1 machine. Cashed out!
