Crazy Week
It took five days to move out of our place - four truck loads to Goodwill and another few to the garbage/recycling. Thank goodness for my parents because without their help, we'd still be packing. Thanks Babca i Dzadzu! However, all of our stuff is in the new garage and we checked into a hotel. After two nights, I was done with that so we've escaped to Brooks for the weekend. Apparently we will be able to move our beds into our new house tomorrow (Sunday). Being 'homeless' gave me a new appreciation and perspective to how lucky we are. I am very thankful and know that this is just a blip. Todd assures me that we'll laugh about this and I know he's right. I'm quite proud of him too as he's designed a pretty amazing home for us. Our contractor, Marky (as Liam calls him) said to me "Your husband is a smart man." Yes he is.
