Weekend at Gull Lake

Todd's sister and her family have a cabin, Porcupine Alley, in Gull Lake which is north of Calgary.  We were invited to spend the weekend there with them and Todd's parents.  It was nice to get out of the city and do things like catch frogs, play catch with a football in the middle of the road, shoot a bb gun, slingshot and other fun things that city folk can't readily do.  The scenery along the drive was beautiful too, wheat fields and farmers getting ready to harvest.  Todd also enjoyed a 32 km run Sunday morning from Sylvan Lake back to the cabin.
