Ruffian

Liam is a typical boy. He loves to play hard and rough with whoever will take him on, even Babca and especially his Dad.

Taking a breather

Before the Storm

A crazy spring storm is on its way. The forecast is calling for 20cm of wet snow over the next day or so. Thankfully it was still dry yesterday for Emily's soccer practice. Hopefully the hardcore coach will cancel game night tomorrow, especially if the forecast holds true.

Week 2 - So Far So Good

Liam's 2nd week of soccer was tonight. Last year he did great the first week and then called it a season. We couldn't even get him to pose for a team picture. I was cautiously optimistic last week when he seemed keen, but not convinced that he would want to play this week since past behavior predicts future behavior (can you tell I was interviewing all day?). Team pictures were scheduled for tonight as well.

Did he play? Did he pose for the picture?

He did it! Team shot
Individual picture
Having fun
He shoots!
He scores!
Paying attention to instructions
Not impressed that a teammate is 'not listening'
Emily joking around
Human swing

Playing in the Rain

It started pouring rain just as Emily's soccer game started last Thursday night. Since her coach is pretty hardcore, the kids kept playing. I froze, but Emily was pretty warm.
