Spring Fever is everywhere

There are lots of rabbits running around the neighborhood these days. Tonight we watched one chase another. Liam figures they are brothers playing. Emily thought they were playing tag. I'm sure we'll be seeing little bunnies soon.

Soccer Season Part II

Emily started her 5th soccer season tonight. Now that she's on a "U8" team, soccer is twice a week - Tuesday practice and Thursday is game night. She seems to really enjoy it and works hard, especially since her coach seems pretty focused on the rules, etc. of the game. I'm living vicariously through the kids' and their soccer playing as that was the only game I wanted to play when I was young, but didn't get the chance.

Soccer Season

Liam's 2nd season of soccer started tonight. He was into the 'practice' and played hard. However, he did the same last year and then decided he didn't want to play after that first night. He seemed keen tonight so we'll see if being a year older makes a difference this season.

Making Progress

Todd spent the day yesterday putting fence posts in. We have a tenant scheduled for move in June 1st at the latest and possibly the 2nd or 3rd week of May at the earliest. So Todd is working hard on getting the yard finished.

My mom is staying with us for a couple of weeks so while Todd and the kids were slaving away, my mom and I went shopping. Not much success of the clothing front, but I did manage to find Emily a new bike. Babca bought Liam an Ironman shirt that he quite likes.

More Sunny Days

We had a beautiful sunny weekend so spent a lot of time outside. Picnic lunch, skipping and just enjoying the nice weather.

What a great husband

Reception at work called me near the end of the day on Thursday saying that they had flowers for me. Beautiful red roses in a vase were waiting for me from my thoughtful husband.
