Camp Jackson - Day 4
Another day and this one took us for a hike in Kananaskis - Troll Falls. A short, but nice hike that ended up at a waterfall. We had lunch by the water and then headed back. Before we left K-country we drove around a bit and saw a lot of trails closed due to bear and cougar activity.

Camp Jackson - Day 3
Day 3 of our camp and we had a special guest join us - Dad! We floated the Bow river in our drift boat, aka the big banana. Apparently hot sunny days are not the best for fishing, but we managed to catch a few beautiful rainbow trout, one brown and had a bunch of 'hits.' It was a great day on the river and catching some fish was just a bonus.
Prior to the flood, this was the parking lot of the boat launch
Interesting to see how the flood affected the river banks
Liam rowed for 90% of the 6 hour trip! Amazing for anyone, let alone a 7 year old.
The big banana
First catch of the day
Good to see tons of tiny minnows
Second catch of the day
Crazy water where the Highwood River met the Bow. The water became pretty dirty after this point.
We think this was a movie set
Tired kids!

Camp Jackson - Day 2
Second day of Camp Jackson and we headed to the corn maze south of town, along with some good friends. Emily was in her glory with all of the animals. Liam had been here a couple of years ago so it wasn't new to him, but still enjoyed the day. Day 2 was fun and we topped it off with a Dairy Queen treat. Still so far so good.
Pig race; Liam and I cheered for the 'green' piggy and he was the winner.
