Todd and the kids went on their third annual camping trip to Beaver Mines in Southern Alberta this past weekend. This is the one where I am not invited; it's their special time together and what a tradition it's become. I, on the other hand am quite productive while they are away. This year I went for two morning runs, donated 7 garbage bags full of clothing, cleared out part of the garage, put up a new shower rod and curtain, returned a bunch of recycling, built a desk for Todd for Father's day, cleaned the house, celebrated a friend's birthday (although I would have liked Todd with me for that one), as well as the regular laundry, groceries, etc. I enjoy having time to purge and get somewhat organized, but am glad when they come back home.
Because it's such a great time, they had friends join them this year.
