Ah, being at home

The past two weeks I have been home with the kids as our nanny is still away. It's been great (except for the occasional meltdown or two). The first week the weather wasn't cooperating so we weren't able to get outside too much. This past week, however, the sun has been shining.

Highlights from my time at home:

Playing outside before supper
Collecting styrofoam from the woodpecker pecking above
Skipping...always skipping
Woodpecker creating a new nest
Playdate at Bowness Park on Thursday
Mr. C at Bowness
Miss C at Bowness
Liam playing tag at Emily's soccer game Thursday night

Break during soccer
Dinosaurs Alive! at the zoo on Friday. Liam and I were at the zoo for about 4 hours.
Giraffe family
Handsome peacock
Butterfly at the new conservation. Hot and humid!

Liam took this elephant picture
Discovering a rope to swing on, just like Spiderman
4 hours + walking + heat = tired, but cute boy

On Fire!

Liam had week 4 of soccer last night. It's still a chore to get him out the door, but once he's outside and on the field, he doesn't want to leave. And he scored two goals! Once he figured out the concept of kicking between the pilons, he was on fire.
