Roma

One of Todd's favourite cities.  After all he is an architect and the architecture is second to none.  Liam also wanted to go to Rome and see the Colosseum.  Emily found her second Brandy Melville.  Me, I was looking for some authentic Italian tiramisu.

First evening in Rome.  Our apartment was about a 15 minute walk away.

The next morning we toured through the Colosseum

Todd's favourite building - the Pantheon

Gelato - an irate customer and clerk at this gelato store; they were arguing over one euro

Dinner; these two glasses were knocked over by a couple of Canadian kids.  Good thing the wine was caught before it rolled off the table.

St. Peter's Basillica

A person waiting to confess.  The kids were quite interested in the concept.

Last Day in S Agata

Once we returned from Capri, we spent some time wandering around S Agata.  We had met a British couple on the train when we were traveling to Pompeii and they had mentioned that there was an outdoor pool at the hotel they were staying at, coincidently down the street from our apartment.  They  didn't think it would be a problem if we used it so we (the kids) went for a dip before supper that night.  We then had a treat at our local yummy Gelateria before heading back to the apartment.

They had the pool pretty much to themselves

Leaving Sorrento and traveling on to Rome.  We had some time before our train so dropped off our luggage at the station and went for breakfast.
