Future Oiler?

Liam is getting pretty excited about starting hockey in January. Since he's only four years old, he can play in a grassroots league. Next year will be Timbits. We were talking about the upcoming 'season' and he asked, "What's after Grassroots?"

Me: "Timbits."

Liam: "What's after Timbits?"

Me: "Novice."

Liam: "What's after Novice?"

Me: "I don't know. Dad will know though."

Liam: "Well, when will I be an Oiler?!"

Last Sunday was a beautiful warm day. I felt like lemon poppy muffins for some reason (even though I can't eat them due to my LBD challenge!) so I decided to bake some. Liam was at the neighbor's house and Todd was working on some things outside. Emily decided she wanted to go to the park across the street...by herself. I told her I'd meet her once the muffins were baked. When I arrived about 30 minutes later, there she was playing, swinging on the monkey bars and having a great time. That was the first time she went on her own! Big girl.
