Stocking up on Firewood

Todd finally got a chance to use his Christmas present - a chainsaw. We took a drive out to Elbow Falls/Bragg Creek area to cut some firewood. Amazing how cheap a permit is - $5.00 for 5 cubic metres of wood. I guess that's a lot. We brought only about 1/3 of a cord home and that was even a full utility trailer. Makes it difficult to purchase firewood from a gas station where a few logs cost $7.00+.

Emily thought it was hilarious that we saw elk/deer poop
Liam did, too

Lethbridge

We really don't get to Lethbridge as often as we should so we headed south this past weekend for a bit of a visit. My parents and one brother/sister-in-law live there and the kids enjoy visiting them. My bro and SIL invited us over for a turkey dinner and round 4? for Christmas presents for Emily and Liam. Quick trip, but worth taking the drive.
