Family Date Night and more...

Last night (Friday) we took the kids to the movies. We haven't been in awhile so we decided to see "Where the Wild Things Are." Both Emily and Liam really enjoy the book as do I. It was pretty good; not too scary. And of course, movie popcorn is always a must. For some reason Emily and Todd think it tastes better than regular home made stuff. They're two peas in a pod.

The rest of the weekend is full. Emily has dance, Liam has gymnastics and Todd and I are attending Liam's preschool silent auction tonight. I also want to go shopping sometime to look for bedroom furniture for the kids' rooms. Too much to do and not enough time!

The house finishing is making progress. The main floor ceilings and wall going up the stairs were painted their final coat. Looks great. The stucco on the garage is finished and the doors are supposed to be in on Tuesday. We bought new barstools which surprisingly were in stock so we have them. We're trying to find dining chairs, but it's been difficult. I have trouble paying $700+ dollars per chair without actually seeing it. Besides we need 8 chairs and I am not going to pay $5600 for chairs! Crazy. I'm sure we'll find something that works and are reasonably priced.

I also tried a 'cardio sculpt' class this week. I am still in pain......

Love the Balls

Our 'Bocci Ball' lights over the island have been hung! Little by little, the house is getting done! Although we bought bar stools on the weekend that Todd brought home today. He was putting them together when he said "these don't look like the ones we ordered." Sure enough, they were the ones we didn't want. So pack them up and try again tomorrow. Sheesh. But, gotta love the balls.

Bouldering

During Emily's gymnastics class, Liam and I went exploring. I had heard that there was a bouldering wall so we went in search of it. We found it and the best part of all is that it's just an open wall that anyone can enjoy.
