First Official Dinner Guests

Today is Remembrance Day, so we had the day off. We invited some friends over and their two little ones for dinner. Emily helped me prepare the feast of pork tenderloin, roasted vegetable medley (including beets), spinach berry salad and a trifle. Liam loved the trifle and asked for 'more yummy dessert." I now judge dinners by how well kids eat and they all ate well, so I guess it was a hit.

The kids, Emily, Liam and Miss C get along and play very well together. Mr. C is only three months old, but I'm sure will join in the fun soon.

Emily loves babies so it was no surprise that she wanted to hold the little guy. But, Liam surprised me by also wanting to hold him. Very cute.

Hilarious item that wasn't really around when Emily and Liam were little - a "hooter hider" used during nursing. Makes sense, but too funny.

Tis the Season

Even though it is the early November, I am getting Christmas fever - shopping, baking, decorating. I'm pretty sure I'll be playing Christmas music soon. Hopefully the house will be done by Christmas so that we can entertain!

This baking website looks pretty good. I'll have to start making and freezing some yummy baked goods.
