Family Day

Today is Family Day and a beautiful sunny day it is.  We didn't want to be stuck in the house so we went to Banff for the day.  Skating at the Banff falls first then to the Sweet Shoppe for a treat before heading home.  

Edmonton to Shop and Meet the Oilers

Todd's brother gave him two tickets to a meet and greet for the Oilers so we drove up to Edmonton for the day.  After needing some 'soak time' to let it sink it that he'll meet the Oilers, Liam was excited to meet Taylor Hall.  They also saw Ryan Smith, Jordan Eberle and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Others were there, but Liam didn't want to stand in line.

While the boys were meeting the Oilers, Emily and I went to West Edmonton mall.  Then we all went to the water park.  The kids loved playing in the waves and going down some of the water slides.  Todd and I were happy because the day tired them out and we had a peaceful ride home.

Hitmen Intermission

A week ago, Liam's hockey team had the opportunity to be the entertainment during the first intermission at a Hitmen game.  He was pretty excited because he was able to wear a jersey with #4 - Taylor Hall's number.
