The grade 5 & 6's are away camping this week so the rest of the kids at school had a field trip to the zoo. I volunteered and tried to split myself between the two kids. Unfortunately Liam was paired with his grade 1s and 2s and I was a parent volunteer for Emily and some other grade 3/4 girls. We were able to spend lunch together and I rode the bus home with both kids too. Liam even got off his bus when it was starting to leave because we had planned to sit together and I wasn't back to the muster spot yet. Thankfully his teacher knew our plan and she got off with him and they waited for me to arrive. He's such a sweet little guy.
