New Activities

After the week with gramma and grandpa, Emily and Liam came home wanting rollerblades (Emily) and a skateboard (Liam). I didn't have a problem with Emily wanting rollerblades, but I was a bit concerned with Liam and a skateboard, especially since he is only 4 years old. He assured me that he would be fine so we purchased a skateboard and rollerblades.

Hola!

Todd and I escaped to the Mayan Riveria for a week of sun, mojitos, snorkeling, laying on the beach and just relaxing. Emily and Liam went to Brooks so it was just us. I felt slightly guilty for going without them, but the feeling quickly disappeared when I looked around and saw that the miserable people were ones with kids. We took ours to Mexico when Liam 17 months old and Emily was 4 so I completely understood where these people were coming from. Not easy traveling with toddlers.

We also met lots of nice people, particularly a family from Scotland and another one from Ireland.

Now, where to next?

Just arriving. Feeling the humidity and heat!

Happy Birthday Canada!

Posting this a bit late, but it was Canada's 143rd birthday over a week ago. Todd and I took the kids to Princess Island park for lunch and festivities.

All Done

A couple of weekends ago was Emily's last week for soccer. Her age group ends the season with a tournament. After the tournament, the kids and I headed to Lethbridge to celebrate my visiting Polish uncle's birthday as well as to attend my cousin's soon-to-be-wife's wedding shower. Todd stayed back and began organizing the garage.
