Snow Already??

I'm a bit late with this post as we received a big dump of snow last week.  We were lucky with a warm fall and not so much right now.  I just wanted the nice days to last just until Halloween as it makes such a difference to trick or treat when it's pleasant.   Oh well, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised; we live in Alberta after all.

Crazy Weekend

This past Saturday was one that was just too busy.  An action packed day filled with birthday parties, dance lessons and a piano recital.  The day ended with a relaxing dinner with friends though.  The friends we have our annual pumpkin carving contest with, but the adults decided to have wine this year instead.  I was good with that.  We just carved two pumpkins with the kids on Sunday instead.
