Just a Little Spoiled

Christmas day has now come and gone.  We spent time with family and friends and as usual were spoiled silly.   The kids were super excited Christmas Eve.  They put out cookies and eggnog for Santa and some of Coco's food for the reindeer.  Liam kept telling Todd and I to go to bed as he was worried that Santa would skip our house if we were still awake.  Todd and I said they could get up when their clock radios said 7:30 and not a minute before.  At 6:00 a.m we woke up to Liam's cute face and him saying "I know it's only 6:00, but I'm too excited."  Good thing we have great coffee in the house.

Merry Christmas

Farewell Ted, until next year

Ted, our Elf on A Shelf has completed his duty of 'spying' on the kids and has gone back to Santa.  He was a lot of fun and we look forward to seeing him December 1st, 2013.

Christmas Concert

I think I have previously mentioned how much we like the kids' school.  Calgary has so many options, much more than when Todd and I were school age yet we feel very fortunate that our designate school is a place where Emily and Liam are happy and feel comfortable.  It's a small school, although it has grown from 118 students last year to 150 this year, K-6.  I really can't say enough about the sense of community our little school has and we are always thankful for the teachers that invest so much into our kids.  This past week we went to their Christmas concert and yes we are biased, but it was a great show.

All the grade 1s and kindergarteners - Liam is in the 2nd row, blue shirt on the left
