It is the Moon that Shines So Bright

Taming of the Shrew was one of my favorite Shakespeare plays.  We studied it in high school and every once in awhile I find myself quoting certain parts.  Last night's moon was so full and bright that it called for such a time.  For being in the city the stars were pretty incredible too.

It's All Relative

It is the middle of winter and I am fully expecting more arctic blasts before spring, but yesterday we had a taste of what's to come; it was a beautiful day with temperatures soaring to +1 degree celcius.  I know, crazy to think that we believe above freezing is balmy and an opportunity to get rid of some bulky clothing.  It's all relative.  And we are Canadian.

We took advantage of the day and skated for about two hours at our local outdoor rink.  Warm enough to wear a light sweater, yet cold enough for the ice to remain frozen.
