Calaway Park
The kids have been asking to go to Calaway Park, Calgary's Disneyland for the past month. I promised them that we would go on the last day of school, so off we went this past Friday. We have season's passes so this was the first trip of I'm sure many.
Grade One: Done
It was Emily's last day of school this past Friday. It was 'sports' day, fun lunch day, face painting day, obstacle course day. I took the afternoon off and took Liam to the school for the afternoon. He was in with all the kids like a dirty shirt. Since it's a small school, everyone knows everyone so it's extra enjoyable for all.
It's strange, but I felt a little sad that the year was over. Emily on the other hand couldn't wait to start summer holidays. Todd reminded me how excited we were as kids for the last day of school. I suppose he's right.
