Phoenix Family Trip

We took the kids to Phoenix for a weekend and rented a house with our good friends that now live in Houston.   With 37 degree weather, a backyard pool, aisles of (cheap) wine in any grocery store and great shopping, I ask myself why we don't visit more often.. or live there.

Besides spending time with the Rincon family, highlights included pool time, yummy supper at the house, visiting the Botanical Gardens, a quick hike in the heat, a Coyotes vs. Avs hockey game and shopping.

Next trip for the eight of us will be New Orleans in 2017.

Grades 8 & 5

We are back at it again.  Summer is over and school has begun.  Emily is in grade 8 and Liam started grade 5.  So far they are both enjoying their classes - Emily is in 8F and Liam has his same two home room teachers as last year.   Here's to a successful 2016-2017!

Camp Jackson

I believe this is our 5th year of Camp Jackson.  I didn't get a ton of pictures, but we went to COP to sky luge, played Monster Mini golf (glow in the dark mini golf), back to school supply shopping, lunch and ice cream with some friends and we topped it off by meeting my parents at Elk Water to camp for the weekend.

Some pictures from Elk Water.  Sadly not many from the rest of the week.
