Europe - Sorrento, Italy

Next was five glorious days in the Sorrento area.  Our apartment was a few minutes from Sorrento in a quaint village named S Agata.  Great location and apartment for us and central for day trips to the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and the island of Capri.  It was also walking distance to markets, restaurants and samples of limoncello. The owner of our apartment lived across the hall and was lovely - gifting us with fresh bread, mozzarella, garden tomatoes and basil upon our arrival. She also brought us yummy croissants one morning.

This area was our first time in this part of Italy and we loved it.  Our original travel plans had us spending the first week in Greece before traveling to Italy.  However, Greece was/is going through an economic crisis so we thought it was best to avoid this time in history and spend more time in Italy.  Poor us. We had no regrets with this decision.
