Our Boy is 8

Time sure is flying.  Liam turned eight years old today.  To celebrate him (and Emily when it's her birthday), I take the day off and volunteer in their classroom. We also have a family supper, the choice of meal made by the birthday child.  Liam's friend birthday party is happening over the weekend so the celebration will last a few days.

Liam at eight years old is a great boy.  He is smart, funny, athletic, handsome, loving and sensitive.  He still holds hands when we walk and is the first to give hugs.  He is also very stubborn and goes after what he wants.  Traits that both drive us crazy and make us proud.  He plays hockey on the McKnight Mustangs Novice 2 team, does karate and loves to do cartwheels and head/hand stands.  He's quite popular with the ladies too and has some really good buddies.   We are very proud to have him as our boy and look forward watching him continue to develop and become his own person.
